                                                       Pre-schoolText Box: TLC’s Preschool program is designed to provide experiences based upon developmentally appropriate practice and the understanding of social, cognitive, emotional, and physical needs of children. Learning centers individualize the curriculum to meet the variety of needs and skill levels of the children. The teachers provide multi-sensory experiences at varying levels which allow the children to question, reason, create and engage in meaningful interactions with each other. These experiences include art, music and movement, dramatic play, language arts, science, mathematics, Spanish, sensory, computer, physical education and free play. Emotional and social development are also a very important part of the pre-school curriculum. Positive reinforcement and gentle redirection help the children achieve their developmental goals.
