Text Box: TLC’s Infant Program is a unique program that provides a warm, nurturing, safe environment that encourages physical, emotional and mental growth. Our teachers have positive, loving attitudes and engage in many quality interactions with the children throughout the day. Play time, changes, and feedings are all times that are viewed as learning and growing experiences that necessitate conversation, interaction, and lots of smiles. To increase communication, the teachers use baby sign language with the children from their first day at TLC. This room also encourages the children to attain normal developmental milestones such as sitting up, crawling, cooing, babbling, eating baby food, eating table food and holding their own bottle. The teachers plan developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities which include art, music, language development, fine motor, gross motor and sensory experiences and they love to read to the children often. Infant room: 3 to 1 child to teacher ratio
